Jang et al. reported that the AuraGain™ LMA with esophageal Doppler monitoring enables anesthesiologists to evaluate patients' cardiac output accurately through a convenient probe insertion via a gastric drain port [9]. There are also many types of LMAs that are intended only for ventilation.
